Commercial Interior Designer working on design projects that include large tech companies, large and small business offices, restaurants, retail shops/stores, multi-family clubhouses and recreational areas, and most recently medical/dental and veterinary offices.
Duties Include, but not limited to:
• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
• Provide support, organize plans, presentation materials and information for project managers, such as budgetary needs, correspondence between vendors, general and sub-contractors, field specialists and clients.
• Prepare architectural documents, forms and worksheets according to city, state and federal building codes, laws and regulations. Review and verify all documentation for completeness.
• Help onboard and train new employees with the company, as well as set-up continuing educational classes and additional training sessions to maintain career development.
• Current knowledge of industry trends in retail, restaurants, medical/dental offices and business offices.
• Current working knowledge of building and health codes and compliance issues.
Demonstrated 3D visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles.
• Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives.
• Ability to execute multiple designs within deadlines.
• Work closely and collaboratively with senior designers to develop and execute design concepts and strategies
• Ability to communicate design with hand sketches/drawings.
• Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues.
• Keep detailed records of current and past projects while maintaining compliance with companies’ confidentiality protocols.
• Interact with multiple cities, counties and clients for business development and professional development.

CAD Designer that was responsible for technical aspects of project delivery when it came to renovations in the hotels. Understanding the interior design concept, working through the details with relevant parties, and completing drawings and specifications for renovating hotels. Helped redesign the New York and Boston Hotels.
Duties Included:
• Produce CAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, cross-sections and details.
• Produce FF&E specifications.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and approve changes.
• Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders.
• Review ongoing construction work to ensure it remains aligned with the design intent.

Design support: assist with completion of construction documents, design development and ADA accessibility and building codes.
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
• Produce graphic presentations, physical models, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
• Research products and materials for kitchen/bath applications and maintaining a current catalog library.
