Throughout my career I have had many opportunities to design a wide variety of innovative products for many different industries. Early on I crossed over into the realm of mechanical engineering and that has greatly expanded my knowledge of materials and design for manufacturing. I am not an engineer by degree but hold many similar skills, and abilities. In my current position I am looked at as a hybrid industrial designer/mechanical engineer. I have the ability to take product ideas from concept to production. Everyday I continue to expand my professional skills and knowledge. I feel that it is very important for an individual to never stop learning. Looking to the future, I have a growing interest in more 'remote work' positions that can allow me and my family to do more exploring.
