David Hong

David is a digital storyteller with extensive experience in crafting compelling visual narratives for the world's

smartest brands. He believes a well told story is behind every successful venture, and for every business

challenge, a narrative driven solution. In his 14 years of experience as a storyteller, he has been a strategic

partner to clients big and small looking to discover, create, and share their own unique story.

David began his career as a motion designer for MTV and Nickelodeon, where he helped develop on-air

design show packages and network identities across various channels. Later, he moved into the branding

space where he led story driven initiatives for intelligent brands like AT&T, Disney, Google, Samsung,

Microsoft, and Verizon.

Today, as principal of UX and Motion Design, David lives at the intersection of digital storytelling and human

centered design. He consults clients on how to elevate their product and brand experience through robust

motion design prototyping, narrative driven content creation, and impactful brand storytelling. In his spare

time, he writes music and captures his family’s adventures on film, turning them into short stories at the end of each year.
