As an Architect with Sheladia Associates, in collaboration with Bechtel Corporation worked on Design and Construction of Stations for Phase 1 of a mega scale project. Stations worked on include Tysons east, Tysons Central 123, Tysons Central 7, Tysons West, Wiehle Avenue, and other facility buildings.
Involved in preparing construction documentation and permit drawing for all five stations, Entrance pavilions, and Wayside Building Facilities. Performed design coordination with various disciplines, such as MEP, structure, civil, and landscape disciplines involving respective department teams while developing construction details.
Stations: Prepare Construction Documents and Permit Drawings for Tyson Central 123, Tysons east, Tysons West and Tysons Central 7 stations. Work include - Station’s Elevations, Reflected Ceiling Plans and details, Precast Concrete Parapet details, Curtain wall details and stair & elevator details.
Wayside Buildings: Prepare Construction Documents and Permit Drawings including - Plans, Elevations, and Details. Coordinate drawings with other disciplines, and work on responses to client comments.
Entrance pavilions: Prepare Construction Documents and Bid Drawings for Tysons East, Tysons west, Tysons Central 7 and Wihle Avenue entrance pavilions. Key responsibilities include – Prepare Reflected Ceiling Plans and Details. Coordinate drawings with Communication and Electrical disciplines.
