Rachel Barish

Born & Raised Knits was founded in the spring of 2015 in Melbourne, Australia by Rachel. After graduating from Parsons the New School for Design in 2014, Rachel struggled to find her place within the fashion industry. She felt there was a huge gap in the market for accessible, contemporary and stylish knitwear for every member of the family. Thus, Born & Raised Knits was founded! Starting as a baby and kidswear brand, B&RK quickly grew into a full lifestyle label. In the summer of August 2017, B&R Knits went into a new venture---producing patterns for knitters!

Born & Raised Knits now operates exclusively as a knitwear design brand. We no longer create pieces for the family, but design patterns for all the knitters out there to make their own!
