Business Development - Awareness of IP issues and how it affect all areas of the product, developing knowledge of creating a business plan with assessment, understanding strategy methods which could be implemented to improve a business.

Internship - Product Design EngineerHi TechnologyAug 2011 - Aug 2012 (1 year)During my time at Hi-Technology I was facilitated within the Design team. The variation of work which I was involved in ranged from conceptual work with new innovative ideas to product alteration and redesign.
Working close to tool designers and engineers was of key importance within the job role. Designing for manufacture (Injection Moulding) and assembly methods had to be followed at all times.
Because of this close relationship with engineers, my knowledge and understanding of manufacture increased making communication of ideas much more efficient.
As part of the design team, I also had the role of producing several pieces of graphic design work from business adverts to exhibition banners which allowed me to be creative in a different manner.
