My aim is to obtain a sufficiently wide experience in a demanding and creative context, so that, ultimately, I would be part of a successful graphic design enterprise in which I had a significant role in the formulation of policy and strategic direction.

I have been employed as a Designer for Accessories 4 Technology for almost five years. The company produces accessories and peripherals for the gaming, mobile and tablet world. I am heavily involved with the company’s continuing license with Sony PlayStation, held since 2008; this license accounts for 90% of the business.

Additionally, I have been lead designer for a number of company licenses – Sony, Warner Bros, PopCap, Nickelodeon and others. I have a particular interest in typography and print and, in this connection, I have been involved in re-branding the company’s look and feel through its stationery and website. Also, I have particular strengths in the fields of branding and packaging design. My design from scratch for an XBOX brand called STEALTH has sold in major retailers in both the UK and around the world.

I can offer someone with creative flair that, currently, is being only partially realised, a high level of motivation, flexibility and an open-mindedness crucial in any creative context. Further I am confident on working on a range of projects simultaneously and, because of my experience to date, time and other pressures hold no fears. I am equally happy working autonomously, where my confidence imbues me with the ability to make decisions and go with them and, also, as part of a team, contributing and responding to ideas and where my people and communication skills (verbal and visual) have profited me in the past.

Academically, I have excellent qualifications in graphic design and am technically proficient in all the major applications. I have an understanding of WordPress and am confident in the use of Adobe Creative suite – especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

On a personal level, I can be tough when arguing my point but recognise the need to be compliant when the argument is lost or takes another direction. I am experienced in giving presentations to both my immediate colleagues and also outsiders. Further, I am able to make decisions quickly when required but recognise that, sometimes, a more reflective process can win the day.
