I have redesigned the district website, for a large group of young people in Southampton. The project was handed to me as part of the network group and following Scout Spokesperson training, gave me insight into using brand guidelines and working in Wordpress. I worked as a Design Assistant at Crewsaver for two months over the summer after a successful work experience placement in February and being asked back into a paid position. During that time, I helped the design and sales teams work on a diverse set of projects from the finishing touches on an America’s Cup buoyancy aid to writing spec sheets for military dry suits. I was involved in most of the design process and learnt many new skills, including the tender and health and safety testing procedures.
