Led and developed high performing category teams in strategizing own brand propositions via the milestone process. This involved concept generation, data analysis and commercial optimisation, ranging decisions, technical trials, customer insight and the design process. Worked on many high-profile projects and categories including but not limited to Pet, Toiletries and Paper ensuring timely delivery of high quality, customer focused ranges. Worked closely with international external supplier partners to devise new product developments based on the latest consumer trends and insight whilst analysing competitor activity and market dynamics. Implemented industry leading packaging initiatives in both primary and secondary formats ensuring that true sustainability was a key part of the decision-making process driving real change. Took ownership of critical paths ensuring that all stakeholders were engaged when necessary, demonstrating communication and time management skills throughout the end to end process. Worked closely with internal stakeholders to develop the long-term strategy of the categories ensuring that our plans were customer focused, commercially viable and aligned to the strategy of the wider business.

Fuyang City, Zhejiang Province, China & Studham, Bedfordshire Designed and assisted in the development of a wide range of elite rowing racing shells and rowing accessories. Assisted in all elements of the design process including the development of Solidworks CAD models and engineering drawings as well as presenting to stakeholders using the Adobe Creative Suite. Autonomously worked in a Chinese factory environment for four months liaising directly with company directors to meet deadlines as they travelled globally. Sourced and purchased materials from international suppliers ensuring that sound communication was achieved. Spent four months working at Rowing Centre UK Ltd., Swift Racing Internationals UK distribution office assisting with parts sales and customer database. Involved in preparing boats for demonstration and deliveries which included quality checking and product testing.
