The Knothole - Las Vegas, NV
The Knothole is a floating hybrid house design that combines a custom furniture wood shop below grade with residential private space on the 2nd level. The ground level contains the dual purpose space for living and business. This hybrid space will combine the more social parts of residential living with the sales of custom furniture. By using this level as a furniture showcase gallery, the residents may respectfully use the furniture that is built to be sold. The dining room, kitchen, and family room are axially connected for convenient movement of furniture so new spaces may be created depending on what clients ask to have built.
