Working within the financial services sector covering three Edinburgh buildings, one Glasgow building, and one Dublin building. Works include space planning, co-ordinating and executing staff moves, and making the best use of space for departments. This would include the negotiation of time and labour, and also preparing schedules of works. The role also consists of dealing with day to day facilities/maintenance issues w ith compassion and efficiency. Current on-going projects are staff moves, floor re-design and costings for furniture, lighting refurbishments, toilet refurbishments, and also planned/reactive maintenance.

Working in a fast paced design and build environment, producing design layout proposals, detailed working drawings for
construction, and dealing with factory issues as and when they arise. Work closely with directors and factory manager to
assess and control expenditure and value for money at all stages. All drawings and information produced to a very high standard
with clear and concise information, enabling all levels of staff to read and understand.

Working within a small maintenance team to assist in organising and implementing planned and reactive maintenance to luxury
seasonal ownership properties at The Glenmor Owners Club at The Gleneagles Hotel. Contributing to budget management by
assessing cost effective methods for carrying out work and ordering/quantifying materials. All work carried out within very tight
time-scales while dealing with an extremely demanding client base. Also took time to train new staff on work methods and
practices, and trained current staff on installed products in homes such as smart tv, sonos music, w i-fi, heating systems etc.

Worked within a small, but highly professional and efficient private architectural practice, providing full architectural services.
These services ranged from measured/condition surveys, common repairs, tender packages, building warrant submissions,
planning applications, utility applications, feasibility studies, and site inspections. Responsible for technical design and
specification within budget. Also contributed overall to design and cost control for projects under the guidance of the architect.
