Edeus Mortgages Cinema Short Film
Edeus were a mortgage lender who unfortunately had the same business model as Northern Rock... and went the same way.
But it was fun while it lasted and I was there at the beginning, inventing the company name (they were big digitally, hence e plus deus).
When they asked the agency to produce a short launch video, I asked where their launch event was happening. They said Leicester Square. So I said sod a video, let's make a film. They said here's 100k.
The result was this found footage horror/Nick Broomfied-esque short which positioned edeus as some kind of cult for mortgages brokers! I was writer, art director and pretty much agency producer on the film. It's weird but kind of wonderful.
