Chip Shop Vinegar Award for Best use of Unusual Media. (For those who don't know, the Chip Shop awards are sort of anti-award awards where you enter spec work for anything you want.)
Chip Shop Award Nomination. I really think this idea could work. Warnings on cigarette packets have been shown to be ineffective. People don't consume the packaging, it's the cigarettes they identify with. So why not force tobacco companies to print warnings on the cigarettes themselves? A week after I came up with this idea, Kate Moss smoked while on the catwalk. I bet she wouldn't have done if she had to hold a cigarette that said, 'My breath stinks'. I've contacted the Dept. of Health about the idea but got no response. The fools!
Recently the agency's MD met the CEO of the charity Stonewall for dinner and wanted to take along some spec work to show how Stonewall could position themselves as leading the fight against bigotry. I could imagine this idea could have some legs, especially with social media.

Apart from 'Death by Chilli Sauce' I also wrote a novel years back called 'Fall.' It never got published but I still reckon it's a great if long (120,000 words) read.
