Louvre Museum Project

The Louvre Abu Dhabi is a Universal Museum designed by Pritzker Prize winning
Architect Jean Nouvel and will consist of Permanent and Temporary galleries, a
Children Museum, associated storage and conservation areas, administration areas
and food and beverage outlets.
It is located on Saadiyat Island, Just 500 metres off the coast of Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat is
undergoing a remarkable transformation. This unique place will offer an entirely
unique invitation to the discerning traveler.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is part of a thirty year agreement between the city of Abu Dhabi
and the French government. The museum is to be located on the Saadiyat Island
complex.
