Hangin' Tough Book
My book for the 33 1/3 series on influential albums of the past 50 years was on the New Kids on the Block's Hangin' Tough, and was published by Bloomsbury Academic in April, 2016. I wrote and researched the book proposal in 2014, and was awarded a book contract that spring. I conducted over 30 interviews for the book and did deep research into the history of the band, the making of the album, and the various influences that made it such a massive hit. I also managed the editing and proofreading stages, in collaboration with my publisher.
