About
With my first real passion being for interior design and architecture, I left the chosen profession after the economic crumble to pursue other avenues of design. SCAD was my next stop, studying Design Management. Extending far beyond the management of design in business, we were taught to integrate knowledge of fundamental business activities, such as research, product development, marketing, communications and production, with an understanding of the essential role of creativity as a strategic advantage. The design management profession focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of design thinking in all levels of strategy, planning and management.
