AIRLOK Ratchetless Bindings
Problem: Almost every snowboard binding on the market uses the same out dated ratchet-driven tightening system. This system requires two hands and takes approximately 45-90 seconds to tighten. AIRLOK bindings have strap length adjustments that can be set to fit the user's boots and lock in place. This design implements a unique new closure mechanism to replace the ratchets. I have decided not to show exactly how it works on the web in order to protect my intellectual property.
