I am seeking an opportunity that is an excellent fit for my thorough design background and driven approach to the development process, from ideation to final sample.
During my time at Ernest Alexander, I managed the successful development of not only seasonal sampling to existing core bag styles, but also lead entire design process (concept, sourcing/developing materials, sketches and techpacks, factory consultation for mockups, and final sampling) through local and international factories and mills.
I also collaborated with my design partner on men’s outerwear and apparel, from concept to development and muslin mockup comments, as well as custom fabric development. It was a role that solidified relationship building and problem solving techniques, as well as strengthening my leadership ‘soft-skills’ through executing design vision direction from my Creative Director and guiding/delegating to junior staff, freelancers and interns, all of which I am eager to apply to future opportunities.
As an Accessories Designer at Rebecca Minkoff, I proactively contributed to the development of multiple seasons of bags, wallets/slgs, and tech accessories programs, through careful time management and refining of organizational skills. Due to my past experiences, I enjoy seeking challenging opportunities with a results-oriented approach. These are skills that I am eager to bring to the right team.
