Design development and implementation of environmental/architectural graphics, signage, and wayfinding systems as well as donor recognition. Project research included study and charting of vehicular and pedestrian circulation as well as observation of how spaces were used and how use could be improved. Clients include Harvard Art Museums, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA Green High Performance Computing Center, UMass Medical School, Forsyth Institute, Rhode Island Hospital, and Fidelity Investments.

Product Designer & Development Manager 2005-2008
Responsible for creating new concepts and designs for consumer products, packaging, graphics and presentation materials. Prepared presentations of design concepts for buyers resulting in large orders from major retailers and created technical drawings to communicate designs to factories in China, Thailand, and India. Managed the product development process from concept through to production, including frequent communication with overseas manufacturers. Clients include Target, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Petco, Kohl’s, and The Sharper Image.

Lecture 2005: Invited by the RISD Department of Furniture Design to give a lecture on the presentation of design work, using Microsoft PowerPoint.

Created 3D renderings of two lines of dormitory furniture for the Rhode Island School of Design. Produced renderings using the 3D modeling program, Form Z, and designed presentation materials. The project culminated with the manufacture of the environmentally sustainable “Sage” line of furniture, manufactured by Adden Furniture, Inc.

Responsible for design of all printed material. Translated existing conditions building measurements into architectural drawings for rehab of historic buildings. Produced architectural plans, elevations, and site plans for new construction projects.
