UX- Information Architecture

Upper Sandusky Community Library has requested assistance with the redesign of their website. The chief concerns on the website includes the lack of organization with the vast amount of information on the site and the visually unappealing aspect of the current site. They would like patrons to have the ability to access information in a quick and proficient manner. Competitive analysis research indicated that the primary tasks of library website users is to access the digital catalogs. The other tasks that users access the website for is digital downloads, library account maintenance and finding general library information such as hours of operation and branch location. Content Review revealed lack of a search engine, lack of dedicated content and limited mobile access. Wireframes and site map were created to demonstrate task-oriented organization on the website.
