In order to better understand the needs of the Daily’s audience and serve those needs in the Daily redesign process, three focus groups were conducted with volunteer participants from the CWRU community.

*Lack of multimedia and visuals
*Last-minute event announcements
*Generalized content
*Lack of reliable event calendar
Some recommendations included:
*More Advanced Notice
*Better Defined Sections
*Stories Capturing the Heart of the CWRU Community
*More Diversified Media

After the research was conducted, wireframes and personas were then created to help the project team with the remainder of the redesign process.
