I write and direct creative production for interactive conversation experiences, videos and assets used for internal/external training, education, and sales. I'm also very loud.

I write all sorts of junk, such as plays, essays, video things and uncategorizable mischief experiments. Of my written work, I've been featured on McSweeney's, the Bygone Bureau and the Big Jewel (which you can check out in Publications below)...or within my own microniche blog projects. I work as a liaison to prep merchants, oversee feature launches and maintain account relationships for the Groupon Goods Channel. I work directly with our Buying, Logistics, AP and CS Teams to ensure clear communication across departments and quick issue resolution.

I helped manage a specialized team of customer support representatives dedicated to the Groupon Goods product channel and acted as liaison between merchants and internal support systems. In the role of Assistant Manager, I monitored daily progress and set productivity goals for a team of 16 reps, as well as provided reporting and created policy for our full CS department on issues related to the Groupon Goods Channel.

I work a variety of functions for the Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship, primarily in coordinating new media presence and promotions. I edit and maintain the Entrepreneur the Arts Blog (blog.entrepreneurthearts.com), and recently worked on the full-scale redesign and relaunch of both the blog site and the official Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship site (instituteforartsentrepreneurship.com).

I also provide general administrative support for the IAE and its sub-brands and am one of the instructors for the Bite-Size Arts Ensemble summer intensive program, launching Summer 2010.

As an administrative intern, I assist with day-to-day tasks at the mainstage theatre and for touring companies. I write copy and consult on promotional plans for the touring companies as part of my marketing focus as well.

Chalk Magazine is a quarterly publication put out by the World Corp in Lawrence, KS. I write feature articles targeted at a college demographic. In addition, I illustrate on a freelance basis and design the features well.

I handle event planning, market research, press relations and more for a variety of studios in the Kansas City market, including Focus Features, Disney and, more directly, New Line Cinema.

I held an executive officer position with one of the largest student groups at the University of Kansas. In my position, I helped guide the public relations and promotional efforts of an organization that planned events with a budget upwards of $400,000. I advised 50+ student peers and helped program events across campus and in the community, including concerts, lectures, tournaments and more. I gained experience in ad buying, media planning, press release writing, web development and more.
