I am an accessory designer specialising in leather, with the skill set and aesthetic sensibilities to create accessories from concepts to their final form. Iv proficient with CADS and detailed hand sketches .
Along with designing iv extensively taken part in merchandising,liaising with clients, vendors, understanding trends, market requirements, understanding brand aesthetics and profitability.

B.Des Leather DesignNational Institute of Fashion Technology2007 - 2011Craft Cluster Initiative - Documented and studied the work of artisans employed in the leather craft industry of shantiniketan in Kolkata,India. Studied the effects of NIFT’s intervention in this field, to revive the art of leather embossing. HIFASN Leather Worked in a tannery for a period of 15 days in Chennai, to understand and document the process of leather hides and skin production for better execution of the same. Organized the fashion spectrum for the leather design department for our college. Took charge of theme, sponsorship, choreography, collection. Created a garment for the leather design department on the theme Las Vegas for the same.

Execute and implement the bulk orders with the vendors, keeping in mind their capacity and lead time. Give quality control measure which are to be followed in the production process, manage vendor queries.
Also analyzing the movement of the launched collections, placing repeat orders, adding or removing certain features and utilities according to customer feedback.
Also giving creative and design inputs for visual merchandising, ad campaigns , product shoots, social media marketing. -
