Research ProjectPeople's Education Society School of EngineeringBangalore, IndiaAug 2011 - May 2014 (2 years 9 months)Dept. of Mechanical Engineering A study of natural fiber reinforced hybrid composite materials: * The main objective of this project was to provide a feasible alternative to the use of traditional material by selecting a suitable proportionality of natural fibers along with synthetic fibers * These natural and synthetic fibers are sandwiched with the help of epoxy resin and cured, and is cut into standard specimen sizes for testing * We proceed further by subjecting the specimen to tensile, compression and bending tests.
