Designed a new reading feature for university level eTextbooks using Adobe Illustrator and Keynote. Collaborated with the Kindle Higher Education Team for multiple design iterations and feedback. Discovered needs through interviewing and observing 'extreme users' (students with learning disabilities). Combined technological research with design thinking methods to create documentation of insights for future use.

Managed a 35-person Cooperative living house with team of other student managers. Led construction and art projects, performed handy work around the house (use of power tools), and worked in conjunction with Stanford Housing personnel for projects and repairs.

Created a mock BMW parking-assist web application using HTML, Javascript, Java, and BMW online framework. Collaborated with programmers to use BMW databases and map renderers to create parking probability maps. Performed in-app user testing by creating feedback forms. Developed a testing scheme/plan to test the pressure rating of an oil exploration tool. Designed test-specific mechanical parts using Solidworks and working with Mechanical Engineers/Designers. Conducted mechanical tests on part thereby producing comprehensive test reports including FEA analysis.

Created and introduced simple, effective, visual forms of complex safety codes for all processes and workers in the drill production centers. Condensed, edited, and reformatted technical research to be published in company magazine.

Shared emissions modeling research to the emissions trading desk. Presented to colleagues and high level management on importance of exploring cap and trade and provided recomendations for delving into the carbon credits market. Assisted with trading analytics.
