A Sofee Alias

Sofee is a chartered member of the RIBA and an award-winning architect particularly in his assignment for the UAE ADMA-OPCO SARB Project in Korea and Abu Dhabi. In February 2025, he received a recognition award from Royal Commission of Al Ula, KSA for outstanding contribution to the project.

He has worked in several countries including 15 years in the UAE and now in Saudi Arabia.

He studied architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture, United Kingdom. He obtained his architectural degree with 1st Class Honours and a Gradus Prize Award. He was also highly commended in the Post Graduate Diploma course and awarded a Partington Prize by the university.

Sofee’s supervision work (jointly managed by MACE and K&A) from 2019 to 2021 for the 5 Star Patina Resort in Maldives was very well received from the client.

With over 30 years working experience to date, he is a very committed individual with an excellent track record. He continuously sets a high standard in design, technical and site supervision, fully conversant of international building codes and regulations.

His approachable collaborative manner has been the key to a consistently productive outcome in all projects.
