-Opening and closing the store.
-Addressing any walk-in customers and jobs, giving tours, doing daily jobs (lasercutting, woodworking, CNC, Painting, general "making")
-Teach Lasercutting orientation classes.
-Assess design + production of any jobs coming in; provide quotes, the best way to make it, and how to Do it Yourself.
-Act as a technician for all machines + tools. Watch for safety and assistance opportunities when makers are using the tools.

I design products. I have a bookshelf filled with sketchbooks, ideas waiting to become realities. Things created in ways that I haven't even learned of yet. I use my spare time to try to bring these ideas to reality. Hand and Sew came after a particular project involving leather and shoemaking. I became very enthused with creating simpler and more innovate designs of things, products that I knew were needed but could not be found in stores. I set to create a movement through minimal, smart design, and aesthetic.

- Entirely handmade leather + wood bags, suitcases, and accessories.
- I worked directly with the owner and operator to learn leatherwork, woodworking, and everything about running a business.
- I was the main producer of orders for the final few months of my apprenticeship, with checkup and help from my teacher.
- Worked entirely unsupervised for weeks at a time.
- Worked directly with customers, fielding questions before and during an order. As well as delivering the final completed product to local customers.

• Worked with CSR and printing-press to organize colour, layout, and samples if needed for all projects.
• Expert experience in Illustrator CS5, and Photoshop CS.
• Beginner experience in InDesign CS5.
• Fluent on both Mac and PC.
