For this helmet, we started with a pattern for the flow of air over the head, and designed the interior of the helmet to flow air in the desired pattern, and then built the aerodynamic exterior around it.

The helmet uses large frontal vents and clear channels through to the rear, with slightly more narrow passages within, to create a slight venturi effect during high speed riding.

The exterior provides an extremely low coefficient of drag, and the dimpled texture panels towards the rear were inspired by the Lufthansa aircraft laminar flow wing texture.

It's not the prettiest helmet on the market, but the way it works is beautiful.
