Virgin Galactic Concept
Working as a helmet designer for while now, somebody asked me what helmet I'd design tomorrow, if I could design ANY helmet I wanted.
I'd make this helmet, for Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Galactic.
This concept uses a near-silent internal fan to take care of carbon-dioxide washout to prevent hypoxia, a lightweight polycarbonate shell to reduce damage from flying elbows and knees while doing backflips in space, and a gold-electroplated shield, to ensure that the sun's rays don't block a single beautiful moment of the best view in the universe.
We didn't get the final contract, but NASA let us wear a real space suit!
