Demonstrator displaying the basic structure of a veneer-reinforced tip-design
A complete tip made of two layers of laminated beech-veneer
A first try to print a very thin fairing out of WPC with FDM
The parts for applying a spherical mirror and a Polaroid Cube+ action-cam into the tip: the camera is looking in flight direction onto the mirror, witch dispalys a picture of 360° from horizon to launching ground.
Modified heat-gun for applying veneer-tapes
Diffrent parts to show the possibilitys of using veneer with thermoplastic coating: A tube with special pattern for mass-reduction and a half-shell reinforced with tapes.

natural fibrecomposit rocket tip

Development of structural components for sounding rockets and micro launcher, with focus on the tip-housing/recovery-containment: Partly by using a special woodveneer, utalising wood as fibrecomposit, partly by using wood-plastic-composites for FDM-printing. The latest development includes a catadioptric camera-system in the far end of the tip.
