THE ARCHITECT

Currently based in Bahrain, I am an architect with artistic bent of mind. The artist in me compliments the architect in me & helps me to visualize & create innovative, original & unique designs, practically worked out & very well planned with proper utilization of spaces. I am an architect with modern, forward thinking ideas, but am equally adept at handling projects that need a more traditional approach to them.

I have a” hands on “approach to designing & believe every project big or small in budget/ size has the potential to be a “Great project”.

I firmly believe that the “concept” of any design is the seed which if nurtured properly will blossom into a beautiful tree!

I have worked in various countries like U.K, India & Bahrain during my 27 years of experience, which has given me the international exposure & experience so necessary for an architect to help him deal with and successfully execute various types of projects. When a client comes to me, I try to put myself in their shoes to understand the vision they have & try to develop it with my skills to deliver a project that that satisfies all aspects & the client as well as the end users.

THE ARTIST

The artist in me is generally drawn towards nature & heritage, though I also indulge in abstracts & portraits. I have over the years put up exhibitions & displayed my works in various galleries in India, London & Bahrain mainly featuring” mother nature” and “architectural heritage.”

Many of my painting on Bahrain feature dhows & the palm dotted landscape. However of late I have turned my attention to the beautiful island of Muharraq. I have created a series of drawings & painting titled “ The streets of Muharraq “ which focus on the hustle & bustle of the street scenes featuring some heritage landmarks & mosque. I plan to continue on this line for other locations in Bahrain like Manama, Khamis, Riffa etc, as well as some wonderful heritage projects in India & Europe.
