Summary: A graduate in Architecture, I completed my post graduation in Furniture and Interior Design at NID. My focus area is Furniture and Interior Designing following a contemporary language. The challenge of combining aesthetics, utility and comfort through design is what triggers my passion for it. Seeking for an innovative and practical approach, which would help enhance my design skills.

Exposure

* Green Building Design for Architecture Thesis

* Worked on machines like wood and metal lathe, jigsaw, thermoforming, CNC etc.

* Has moulded FRP (fibre reinforced plastic) in moulds made out of MDF

* Has done thermoforming and seamless joining of the material - DuPont Corian

* Ergonomic analysis of various furniture and tools.

* Exploration of various forms in terms of meaning and movement.

* Concept depiction using quick paper models or 3D tools such as Rhino.

* Detailed drawing using CAD, renders of 3D rhino models using V --Ray and complex

organic form modelling using 3D Max

* Prototyping of furniture in 1:1 scale using actual materials

* Been a part of the design team of a live project renovating the interiors of an existing

residence.

* Quick sketches for onsite detailing to workers.
