Howard Lloyd

I am a degree qualified Stage Designer, and have worked for the last decade designing musicals, opera and theatre in countries such as Hungary, UK, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Spain, Brasil, Romania et al. I am fully qualified in all aspects of stage and costume design and have a company in Budapest, Hungary that also manufactures and exports sets and costumes for countries such as Norway and Switzerland.



Theatres in Hungary I've designed productions for include : Nemzeti Szinhaz (National Theatre of Hungary), Madach Szinhaz, Békéscsaba Jokai Szinhaz, Kecskemet Katona Jozsef Szinhaz, Eger Gardonyi Geza Szinhaz, Central Szinhaz (Vidam Szinpad), Porondszinhaz (I co-designed the 650 seat circus theatre and productions in it), Komaromi Jokai Szinhaz et al. In the UK I have designed shows in the West End, for Qdos Entertainment, The Cambridge Footlights, regional theatre. In Brasil I have designed opera for the Teatro Municipal - Sao Paulo.



Other companies designed and art directed for include the BBC, Nickelodeon TV, SKY, Scottish Television, S4C, Channel 4.



In the last 5 years I have crossed over to events design, whilst still designing entertainment productions. I work on large scale events including some of the largest Asian weddings in the last few years in Delhi and London (Royal Opera House, Victoria and Albert Museum, Tower Bridge, The Natural History Museum, stately homes and vast marquee array) and specialise in all aspects of event design with an emphasis on venue theming and food presentation and service staff costume design.
