As part of the communications team, I contribute to the college’s graphic design needs. My main responsibilities include design and art direction for college-level branding, print and digital materials with a focus on recruitment.

As part of the web and creative services team, I contributed to the college’s graphic design needs (brand identity/print/web) for various departments and disciplines. I communicated directly with clients to ensure their design needs were met from initial meeting to final deliverable/s. My responsibilities included: Web/Digital: website layout design wireframing/design mockups/flow (small and large scale websites) properly functioning within a responsive design theme; site mapping/structure organization; UX/UI solutions; application design/flow; digital signage design; banner design; social media design; designed and wrote web brand style guides. I redesigned the College of the Liberal Arts website (2015) — responsibilities included: overall design concept; brand style guide; production: image prep/graphic slices/organized file/folder structure system for developers; close collaboration with web developer/s on implementation; content gathering/stakeholder communication/project management; website testing/creation of bug lists/fixes for developers. Print/Branding: conceptualized and created
Tier 3/4 brand lockups; logo marks/icons; print collateral; signage; stickers; and, t-shirts. I make sure that all designs stay within Penn State’s brand standards and guidelines.

As part of the web team, I contributed to Lutron’s graphic design needs to
keep lutron.com and e-marketing current and contemporary (for internal lutron clients across all business units). I conceptualized, wireframed and visually created web pages and some functionality for mylutron.com — an extension of lutron.com. I created and built new design templates for Lutron’s e-marketing campaigns (tradeshow, promotion, product announcements), as well as designed and wrote an email style guide. In addition, I designed Lutron’s social media presence.

As part of the design team, I created successful design solutions for corporate clients to help enhance and extend their brand. My responsibilities included: communicating and working directly with clients and printers; presenting design ideas to the design team; being able to multi-task several jobs and meet tight deadlines; assisting the creative director on photoshoots when needed. I have created brand identities and/or direct marketing collateral for clients including Citigroup, CIT, Lincoln Financial and Pecora Corporation. I had the privilege of rebranding Citigroup’s HR department; the end deliverable was a guideline book covering all aspects of the Citi For You brand.

Oversaw 43 interscholastic sport teams - State College Area High School, Mount Nittany Middle School, Park Forest Middle School; instructed and assessed Penn State student athletic trainers; organized seasonal sport physical exams; redesigned the school's physical examination forms; evaluated, treated, documented and rehabilitated athletic injuries; and, managed the athletic training department's annual budget and supplies.

As a graduate assistant at West Virginia University, I pursed my Master's degree in athletic training. During this time, I was the head athletic trainer at University High School, and worked part-time as an athletic trainer at Healthworks Rehab and Fitness in Morgantown, WV.
