Teach graphic design and print production to students in grades 9-12. This is a pathway program in which students that complete three years can earn an Adobe certification. The first level students learn the basics of the Adobe Creative Suite along with the graphic design principles and elements. Second level continue honing their creative skills as well as learn how to print on various substrates using dye sublimation heat presses, comb binding, large format printing, 3D object printing, laser engraving. The third and fourth level classes take orders, create the commissioned design, and finally the product as though they are in a real print shop. Products range from ceramic Christmas ornaments, metal tumblers, stickers, banners, leather and wood objects. Fourth year students can earn a second Adobe certification.
