About
Currently, I am a full-time woodworker and maker. I build made-to-order furniture for Blowing Rock Woodworks located in western NC. I also have a home shop where I create a build a variety work such as; furniture, jewelry, toys, props and more. My main medium is wood.
Previous Life:
I started my 25-year advertising and marketing career in 1987 with Belk Inc., a regional retailer specializing in personal and home fashions. In 1995 I left the world of retail ad design and ventured into publication design by landing a job with specialty sports publisher, Coman Publishing, Inc. In 2000 I combined my retail and publishing experiences by joining mail-order retailer Sports Endeavors, Inc. My career path has allowed me to work at-length in all areas of the print and design industry. The quality of my work, my get-it-done attitude, strong work ethic, professional flexibility and big-picture world view have allowed me to move quickly into leadership roles at each company where I have been employed.
