MuFly UAV

Mu-Fly is an Engineering design project exploring the potential of hobby size UAV drone technology and the consumer sided applications of this technology. This drone project explores three different frame dictated design optimizations with the dependent variables optimized to $$ per gram of payload and $$ per minute of flight time. The payload bandwidth allows for extensions of sensor capability along with battery extensions and the flight time bandwidth dictates the possibilities for functionality programs and task limitations. The UAV communication possibilities explored are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cell network (GSM/ SIM), electromagnetic transmission & IR transmission.
