Travis Lintner

My daily activities include concept generation, sketching & rendering, CAD modeling, prototyping, modelmaking, storyboarding & use-case illustration, product usability & interface design, identifying consumer needs & market trends, creating design proposals, presentations, as well as new business development.

I worked with the product development teams to develop new concepts for Oster, Mr. Coffee, Sunbeam, Rival, Crock-Pot, FoodSaver, and Villaware brands. My tasks included researching & identifying consumer needs & market trends, generating new concepts through sketches, renderings & 3D data, prototyping and
design verification, creating color, material, finish & product graphics specifications, managing projects with external resources, and presenting solutions to business teams. I learned a great deal about manufacturing processes, materials, and cost savings and improved my skills in presentation and advocacy for the value of design.

In this role, I assisted the design, research, and engineering teams in developing new medical and consumer products while learning the basics of the product development process. I was involved in idea generation, sketching, rendering, building proof-of-concept models, and documentation of market & consumer research findings.

Experiences included design, fabrication and setup of tradeshow and promotional exhibits, museum displays, and custom interior environments.
