Vanessa Morejon

Creative Artist & Designer currently seeking employment in California for a continued Creative outlet in an Art & Design studio.

Originally from Miami, FL I grew up in a place filled with rich culture and visually simulating backdrops. Since I can remember I have always been fascinated with the presence of Art & Design around me. It inspired me to begin drawing and creating works of art that later prepared me for my admittance into Design & Architecture Senior High School where I began to study Art, Fashion Design/ Merchandising & Industrial Design. I participated in many Fashion shows, including having my Senior work featured in the renowned 2006 Miami Fashion Week. With all my dedication and passion for Art & Design I accepted a scholarship to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI where I entered into the Interior Design program to further gain knowledge into Trend forecasting, Color & Materials and their effect upon human environments. After gaining my BFA in Fine Arts & Interior Design I was able to combine both my experiences of Fashion & Interiors and began a career as an Advanced Color & Materials Designer at Chrysler LLC, in Detroit, MI. where I was responsible for Designing, Trend- Casting, Developing & Creating the Color schemes, Fabrics, Materials & Finishes used in all Chrysler Brand Interiors and Exteriors, to achieve a custom and unique appearance.

Due to my upbringing in Miami and its creative nature and culture, I felt it was time for me to relocate to California due to it’s inspiring and visually stimulating creative lifestyle. I believe California is a place that combines Miami’s vibrance with Detroit’s dedication. I am a fast learner with a passion for Art & Design and I feel that I can attribute my talents to any Design Studio.
