About
Vishal Prasad Purohit, with more than 20 years of professional work experience, graduated as an architect in year 1999 from MNIT, Jaipur, India. He got his registration with Council of Architecture and Indian Institute of Architects in 2000. He went on to work with some well-established, Hyderabad based architectural firms for the next five years.
During this period Vishal had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of national significance such as Tourism Development of Aruku Valley, Andhra Pradesh, Temple Area Development, Bhadrachalam, Godavari River Adventure, Papikondalu, Andhra Pradesh.
Vishal moved to New Delhi in the year 2005 and joined Arcop Associates Pvt Ltd., one of the largest architectural firm in India, in May 2005 as a Senior Architect. Within four years time, he was promoted to Associate and moved to Muscat, Sultanate of Oman in 2009 to open and lead a branch office there. He was involved in Master plan and residential developments of Al Hail Greens, and other residential
& Institutional projects in Muscat and Salalah, thereby getting involved in Omani projects for clients like, Royal Court Affairs, Royal Guards of Oman, Suhail Bahwan Group, etc.
He subsequently moved to Arcop, New Delhi again in 2011 as an Associate to lead multiple teams of designers, after Middle East operations picked momentum.
He worked with Arcop on various prestigious large scale Healthcare, Hospitality, Master planning, Institutional, Residential, Sports & Recreational projects.
He subsequently moved to LKS India Pvt ltd, New Delhi in 2016 as Architecture Projects Head to lead multiple teams of Designers, Project Managers and Engineers.
He was responsible for directing and managing teams through day-to-day studio operations, including overseeing the production of high quality, international standard detailed design documents, project issues, outside consultants and sub- consultants, apart from leading teams to create winning competitions…
During his tenure with both LKS India and ARCOP, Vishal was also considerably involved in exploring the opportunities for business development and concept design in India and the Middle East.
Presently he has opened his own practice á.design and successfully creating
oppertunies for a better practice in Bhubaneshwar, Estertn part of India and Delhi
NCR.
Gaining considerable experience during the Concept, Design development and Construction of large scale projects, Vishal considers design skills to be his forte. He has gained expertise in Residential, Healthcare Design and Sports in the last couple of years while developing specialised Medical Universities, Hospitals, Museums and Sports Complexes.
His ability to perform under pressure, adoptability to different working conditions and his temperament are few of his key plus points. -
