Currently based in Singapore, Research & Development Centre of Asia Pacific Region.
Applying the skills, best practices and experience acquired during the one year training in the states for the Asia Pacific Region.

A one-year assignment in the United States of America, shuttling between New Jersey and Utah for strategic innovation training as well as project requirements. I am a leader and member within a cross-functional strategic innovation team, communicating concepts through various sketches, illustrations and renderings, conducting field research on direct voice-of-customer, ethnographic, human factors, concept testing and unmet needs identification.

Hired as an Industrial Designer in a local design consultancy and handled design projects from research
phase to end production liasing with external vendors. Daily activities focused heavily on rapid concept
ideation, concept development and accessing engineering viability. Besides that, participated with team in
in-house design projects on difficulties faced in everyday life with the objective of presenting it to Spring
Singapore for further development.

Invited to join a start-up company spinned off from the NUS Faculty of Engineering and be part of a
multidisciplinary team, primarily focusing on User-Interaction and Interface in the entertainment repertoire.
Designed gestures based handheld working prototype to incorporate all the electronic components.
Prototype is being used in exhibitions, roadshows and conferences to gain confidence in attracting
investment.
