I am fortunate to have spent a large portion of my career with a great design mentor, Arthur Erickson in Toronto and Vancouver. I was able to work on a great diversity of project types, from small-scale private homes to large-scale mixed-use projects in the USA, Europe, China and the Middle East. These projects were usually composed of cultural buildings surrounding a civic plaza. The exchange of ideas in our design studios was rich and challenging and led to the creation of many award-winning buildings. This valuable experience, combined with my teaching at UT and UW, has prepared me to serve most architectural practices as Senior Designer. It has also given me a solid foundation to mentor many of the young staff that I have worked with the last few years. This ability has proved to be valuable to the design culture of many firms of varying sizes. As Senior Designer, I can also offer editorial advice for projects from concept design to construction. Between in Seattle. While at Krei, I was a lead designer for the Greater Tacoma Convention Center (see below) and worked on several collaborations with Arthur Erickson and Nick Milkovich Architects. I was the Lead Designer for the Future of Flight Museum in Everett, Washington. (See below.)
