Student Design Engineer

I was involved in many stages of the design process at Diversey. My primary focus was designing plastic components for injection moulding. This involved creating CAD models within Solidworks, creating engineering drawing packages and collaborating with tool makers to discuss tolerances and draft allowances.
I gained experience with an Objet Eden 250 and Dimension Elite 3d printers and I used these machines extensively to develop and refine prototypes, my duties also included regular maintenance on these machines.
I was also involved in conceptual sketching, rendering, weekly global conference calls and testing procedures.
