I wrote the blurb on my coroflot profile below 9 years ago. And despite the 6 spelling mistakes,(rookie move) the sentiment hold true.
I've learned a lot in 9 years. I graduated with honors. Got my first design job in a small furniture design studio. Learned a lot. Got my second job as a Design Engineer at a large prestige fragrance and personal care company. Learned even more. Attended a designer-focused start up incubator. Worked with amazing people from around the world and re-learned how valuable design is.
21 year old me would be proud.

I was lucky enough to be 1 of 20 people chosen from around the world to participate. We took deep dives into designing, prototyping, testing, pitching, and, raising capital from some of the biggest names in the design and tech industry.

DesignerParsonsMontclair, NJFeb 2011 - May 2013 (2 years 3 months)Parsons Cabinetry Inc. is a great small business and working there allowed me to fill many roles. I was lucky to be involved in many different stages of hundreds of projects. From the beginning stages of meeting with potential clients and going over their needs and ideas, to the more specific tasks of developing production drawings and finishing spec sheets for our carpenters and finishing team. Working in the office one minute and throwing on my hard hat to have a site walk though the next. Some tasks included: Design, Sales, CAD Drawing, Prototyping, Project Management and Quality Control.
