Relocated in Tokyo in October 2016, I have the opportunity to work freelance while exploring the many aspects of Japan.

My main client is also my former employer for two years in India, the design studio VISAVIS. I have the awesome responsibility to expand the studio's reach to Japan as well as support the team in design projects.

I am interested in both freelance project and permanent positions in and around Tokyo.

With over 5 years of working experience, I am able to fit in a team and understand their design process right away. Able to sketch, conceptualize and model for production, jumping in at any point of the design journey won't be an issue.

I look forward to hearing from you!

      VISAVIS
      Shinjuku-ku, Japan
      Sep 2016 - Present (9 years 9 months)
Currently relocated in Japan, I have the awesome mission to expand the studio's reach and develop a network for us.
Aside from this, I actively participate in design projects everyday, working solo from time to time, with the feedback and comments from the team in India.
It is a very enriching experience to be fed by inspiration in Japan, and be able to share it with my team through live projects.
    • Lead Creative
      VISAVIS
      Chennai, India
      Sep 2014 - Sep 2016 (2 years)
I joined VISAVIS when the team was still a handfull of enthusiastic people building their own process and story.
From there, we grew to a happu family of 14 designing and developing products mainly for India, in direct collaboration with factories belonging to our founders, the Butterfly Group.
While at VISAVIS, I had the great opportunity to lead a multi-cultural team, recruit and mentor interns from different countries, and lead design projects from ethnographic research to manufacuring.
Collaborating with engineers live, with direct access to factories, has been a great experience of team work and positive compromises.

Designers in Mastrad are part of Reserach&Development and work alongside with the engineers and digital designers to develop and implement products from a brief to production, innovating to enhance the experience of the end users. The team work and the exchanges with the different job profiles make the everyday work passionating!
