About
Da'Shawn Queen is currently a Bowie State University student, She's a Visual Communications & Digital Media Arts candidate with a concentration of Fashion Design. She's worked in the fashion retailing for a year and a half for the company Forever 21. She has also worked as an intern in two crystal couture fashion shows for director Maggy Francois, as well as worked as an intern on a movie shoot titled Born in The Game. This current year Da'Shawn has worked with Cecily And Fish at Sew Creative Lounge as an intern doing things ranging from assisting organize for upcoming classes, creating custom garments for classes, and more.

Sew Creative Lounge- Intern/FebruaryPresent* Helped organize sewing kits and thread machines. * Cut sets for sewing projects for class. * Created patterns, graded patterns, sewed custom garments for clients * Serged fabrics for other businesses * Labeled and measured fabric for selling to consumers. Crystal City Couture Fashion Show- Intern/January 2017 * Helped designers fit models for their garments * Prepared models for the show, makeup, hair etc * Assisted models transition from different designer clothing lines throughout the fashion show
