LEADERSHIP:
Leader of the art department, managing 7 other designers and driving overall brand consistency and quality. Administrative duties include managing budgets and freelancer invoices, template creation, client proposals, meeting with new clients to kick off projects, creation of project timelines, project management for multiple clients while simultaneously working on Cincinnati Magazine products, training new hires, and working with other department heads to plan and implement business strategies.
DESIGN:
Concept and design page layouts including custom pages, feature stories, covers, and service packages. Concept and provide art direction for photographers and illustrators. Design and create art within various branding styles including books under the Cincinnati Magazine family, cincinnatimagazine.com, and a variety of client publications. Design Cincinnati Magazine event collateral including e-blasts, print and ROS ads, signage, programs, tickets, etc.
