Responsible for footwear design of Converse for APAC region, From quick strike projects, new
upper projects, new material projects to new color projects for Man’s, Woman’s and Kid’s. From first
hand research, second hand research, ideation, CADs, presentation to samples review.

Walker Group is a Hong Kong based listed footwear and accessories company, have business in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Macau. This position is to develop a new product line of men and women casual footwear. The characteristic of the new products line are premium and comfort shoe. Start from the brand name and characteristic, brand image (color usage, brand logo and packaging and also cooperate with the graphic design department to create the product styling photos). The main role is to design footwear, from trend research to market visit, then create the seasonal theme, then select the last that suitable for the brand, after that create the products strategy such as how material usage, color usage and the details using in the design process. After finish all the design process from sketching to CAD diagram to material sourcing, communicate with factories to make samples of the shoes. After finish the seasonal collection, need to present the concept to sales department (Hong Kong and China region). Have work in two different brands in Walker Group, first is Couber+, a premium outdoor footwear brand and Acupuncture, a London based fashion sneaker brand.

Transparent Footwear Inc. is a US based woman’s fashion footwears design agency, which own by woman footwear designer Eric Ruthberg, have a sample room combing with merchandising office in Pan Yu, china. The main customers are: BEBE, Steve Maddam, Bakers and White House Black Market. My main responsibility is to handle the development from sourcing to design and sampling of women fashion shoes. In the mean time, go to different countries (Italy and France) to
get the latest information of the market, also go to the material trade show-Linellapella to get the latest material to develop the shoes collections. The collection are based on customer’s request and also the direction form Eric Ruthberg.

Responsible for the products development of man’s footwear collection (Le Saunda, Saunda) for Hong Kong, China. The main duties are research of foreign fashion trend, creating seasonal theme, design process, samplings, present concepts to sales department and visiting footwear exhibition (Micam Footwear Exhibition).
