My journey through advertising, branding and marketing began in the film business as a Cinematographer on music videos, low budget features, documentaries and spots. The experience led me to what matters most: ideas. Ideas that grab an audience—create emotion—and move people to take action.

The journey took me to places I never expected. Experiential marketing events for top automotive brands. I wrote scripts and directed voice talent for the biggest name in fast food. Immersed myself in the details of such highly regulated industries as utilities, banking and credit unions. I created brand identities and messaging for new businesses as well as helped others change to take advantage of new market opportunities. I conceived PR stunts for a automotive brands, utilities and service companies. Worked on integrated marketing initiatives that combined digital, social media and other elements. Developed content marketing and demand generation programs for both B2B and B2C clients. And, of course, wrote headlines, short and long copy, and collaborated with and led art directors and designers as well as other writers and creative directors, account managers, planners, producers and the entire team that enables a project or campaign to succeed.
