Ruan Basson

Ruan Basson is a South African native, born in Benoni, Gauteng. He relocated to the United States with his family and began to build a new life. He has always had an interest in the arts and has put pencil to paper since he was a young boy.

After graduating high school, he was accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design with artistic and academic scholarships. Originally, he planned to study Industrial Design, yet soon added Jewelry as a second major course of study.

Upon receiving a BFA in Industrial Design and Jewelry, Ruan plans to pursue a career in either field. Eventually, Ruan would like to utilize his years of experience in the creative fields and start his own design consultancy agency.
